Energy Efficient Airend
At the heart of the compressor is our time-proven 2-stage airend. By compressing the air in two steps instead of one, energy savings of up to 15% are realized.
Reduced Bearing Load
A lower compression ratio in each stage leads to reduced bearing loads and longer airend life.
Higher Ambient Rating
Rated to operate continuously at high ambient temperatures of 115ºF (46ºC). This means fewer nuisance shutdowns due to summer heat or reduced susceptibility to operating in dirty conditions.
Digital Control System
Capacity control of the compressor is regulated by the Intellisys microprocessor controller and the intake valve which is positioned by an electric stepper motor. The SSR 2-stage can maintain stable plant air pressure within a close pressure range and deliver a premium level of repeatability.
